Mathscaper, Where Math is Art

Please welcome artist Mathscaper to the SPARKLEBARN gallery!

Mathscaper is an art collective of  Rob Leonard, Alex Camara and Tyler Martin. Their mission is to express the beauty of mathematics and science through art. Working with exotic hardwoods, custom-dyed plywood, aluminum, steel, resins, and silicates – chosen for their optical and structural properties – they seek to inspire awe and appreciation for nature and number.

Their work spans fine art, large-scale public art, architectural scale facades, and sculptures, designed to evoke wonder and curiosity about the mathematical and scientific principles that inform their designs. 

They invite everyone, regardless of their feelings toward or education in mathematics and science, to experience the beauty in the order and chaos of the mathematical world.
